This is a list of questions frequently asked by customers who are interested in more details on our EasyVoice calling plans.

- What are the differences between Speakeasy's EasyVoice Small Office, Office and Unlimited calling plans?
All Speakeasy Hosted Voice plans include standard telephony and advanced VoIP features.
With Easy Voice Unlimited, all users will get unlimited calling anywhere within the continental United States.
Easy Voice Office users will get unlimited local calling, and may share long distance or international calling minutes (Shared Minute National and Shared Minute International plans purchased separately).
Easy Voice Small Office is similar to Easy Voice Office but is reserved to companies with 5 employees or less. This plan is provided with simplified hardware and installation options.
- Which EasyVoice calling plan is right for me?
EasyVoice Small Office is a great choice if you have 5 or fewer employees and all employees are located in the same office. This plan allows startups and very small businesses to access all the features of business-class VoIP service with a reduction in upfront costs because no VoIP gateway equipment purchase is necessary.
EasyVoice Office is right for your business if you have over 5 employees and/or multiple sites. While it is necessary to purchase VoIP gateway equipment, this affords extra flexibility in configuring your service.
EasyVoice Unlimited is for companies with individual employees who each make a large number of calls within the U.S.
- What do EasyVoice calling plans include?
EasyVoice calling plans include:- Advanced IP Features: like Find Me/Follow Me, Remote Office and VoIP Communications Toolbar
- Class Five Phone Features: like Call Waiting, Three-Way Calling and Speed Dial
- A Dedicated Business Account Manager is assigned to every Speakeasy Hosted Voice account
- If I have EasyVoice Small Office, but then exceed the 5 employee limit, what happens?
Once your company exceeds the 5 employee limit or adds a second site, you will be switched to the EasyVoice Office plan. At that time you will also be required to purchase and install a VoIP Gateway.
- Am I required to purchase a Shared Minute Plan with either the EasyVoice Small Office or Office plans?
No, it is not necessary to purchase a Shared Minute Plan, although we recommend you do so as it may provide significant savings on Long Distance. If you do not purchase a Shared Minute Plan, you will pay a metered rate for long distance. - May I choose to switch between EasyVoice Small Office, Office and Unlimited?
You may not switch between the EasyVoice Small Office or Office plans and the EasyVoice Unlimited plan. The only exception is that you may decide to upgrade from EasyVoice Small Office to EasyVoice Office at any time. You are required to upgrade from EasyVoice Small Office to EasyVoice Office in the event that you exceed 5 employees or one business location No other switching between these plans is permitted.
What happens to unused minutes in my Shared Minute Plan?
Unused minutes may be carried forward from one month to the next in any Shared Minute Plan with EasyVoice Small Office or EasyVoice Office Plan.
- If I have EasyVoice Small Office or EasyVoice Office, may I change my Shared Minute Plan?
Yes, you may contact your Dedicated Business Account Manager (DBM) and change your Shared Minutes Plan at any time. The new plan would go into effect at the beginning of your next calling cycle. Note that you will lose your minutes carried forward when switching from one Shared Minute Plan to another.
- Exactly what are Shared Minutes?
If you are an EasyVoice Small office or EasyVoice Office customer, you may select a shared long distance minute plan based on your anticipated long distance calling needs. These minutes apply to all users in your company. Shared Minute Plans are available in two types, National Shared Minute Plans or International Shared Minute Plans.

For all minutes you use after you exceed the limit of your Shared Minute Plan, you will be charged a per minute rate (based on the plan you've purchased).
- Are there restrictions that apply to minutes in my Shared Minute plan that may be carried forward from month to month?
Any minutes you don't use will be carried forward from month to month. Your minutes are automatically carried forward, up to twice the number of minutes per month. These minutes have no expiration date, and can be used indefinitely.
- Can I purchase both EasyVoice Unlimited and EasyVoice Office or EasyVoice Small Office plans
No, the option to mix EasyVoice Unlimited plans with our other calling plans is not available.
- If I choose the EasyVoice Small Office plan, will I be required to purchase a Shared Minute Plan?
No, you can pay a metered rate for your long distance calling, or you can choose any of our Shared Minute Plans with EasyVoice Small Office.
- Can I use my International Shared Minute Plan for domestic long distance calls?
No, you are required to purchase a National Shared Minute Plan for your domestic long distance calls and a International Shared Minute Plan for your international long distance calls.
